About Tom Bombria Photography
My love for the great outdoors and appreciation for the beauty in nature led to my desire to try and capture beautiful images ever since recieving my first camera for high school graduation. But, it wasn't until my volunteer efforts for the "Whale Trail" in 2005 that I started considering photography as a profession. After being hired to record the public art display for a published book my passion for the art became somewhat of an obsession. I work continuously and tirelessly to broaden my experience and hone my technical ability trying to capture the stunning imagery I observe in my travels and in the wonderful landscapes, water views, and architecture of Southeastern Connecticut.
My camera is always nearby and I keep active covering local events, weddings, concerts, sports, and creative portraiture. In addition to the business which includes being the house photographer for the Garde Arts Center, and shooting road races for Capstone Photography, I volunteer my time photographing for my favorite charities Work Vessels for Veterans and Make-A-Wish of Connecticut, and The Reach Foundation.
Recent publishing credit includes Cover of Garde Arts Center 2019/20 season PLAYBILL, 2019 cover of Norwich Magazine, Connecticut Magazine, June 2018, May 2011, Luxe Interiors/ Design, Spring 2011, and Southern Boating Magazine, June 2012. Also, a cover photo for "Mastering the Marathon" book by Don Fink, 2010.
